ok...so i have verizon...i've always been happy there (except for the bill)....but i've loved all my phones...except my recent REPLACEMENT! no, the phone is not the issue...it is the VERIZON STAFF! not just the other day were you able to go to them...pay like 10 bucks and call it a day when you wanted to transfer your phone numbers...but yesterday, they tell me that they don't have that "machine" anymore...seriously...you don't, because you had it the other day....really? so they sent me packing...this is when i start to get pissed...i have my new phone...half charged and no contacts...awesome...now i have to take out the battery (because in the replacement model they didn't send me another one)...put that old battery back into my old phone....get three important numbers i need for the rest of the day (without the option of regular texting to the rest of my world)...i think: i'll be able to fix this when i get home because my mom just got a new phone...uhh...nope...for as long as my mom has had that dumb box lying around...nothing...and when she does find something it's not what i need....i know i have seen "a" disc...but i don't think i've even seen this new disc that they are talking about...so i look through all of my old boxes hoping to find something...and find NOTHING! i'm officially infuriated! today my entire day has been a sham because i've had all this built up hate against my phone not having numbers to talk to the rest of the world with...on top of that i get in traffic only to put fuel to my fire...can we say stressing....for the dumbest reason...this is the hold technology has on us now...i hate it...i hate that my feelings were altered because my technology that i rely on DAILY...HOURLY...sometimes minutes...failed! failed miserably...the people behind the technology FAILED MISERABLY...i have no respect for people that cannot find me a solution right there in the store when that is your job! so fix my $#!+
now the question is...
1. do i go back to my old phone that i can barely receive phone calls on or at all....no reception for some reason where i used to be able to....doesn't hold a charge...and just sucks all around, but has all 500+ of my phone numbers...?
2. do i go to my old old phone that has my numbers on it, works fine, but an older and slower model that is nothing like my old or new phone and just add 30+ numbers that i don't have in that one?
3. do i hold out for the company to either send me another cd (if they even will), find someone with that cd, or wait for answer to get those numbers off my old phone from someone this week?
4. or possibly the worst, most work involved....tedious and undesirable of all options...keep the new phone...and just put in ALL 500+ numbers MANUALLY! yes, input them all....
i think i'm still so pissed writing this still that i just want to do option 2, but 4 is sounding just as ridiculous as i feel that i would actually consider it...lol....ohh how i hate feeling like this! i think it's time to scream...or cry...i don't like not being able to send happy texts, updates, or just find out how my friends are doing....especially all my nashville ones suffering through the flooding.
